Regarding message “You have reached the current usage cap for GPT-4”

very annoying message…

Today I am using ChatGPT 4 as usual in my daily work.

I have subscribed ChatGPT plus plan for several months and it’s really helpful for my daily work.

Unfortunately today when I keep using it, I meet with this error message below:

You’ve reached the current usage cap for GPT-4, please try again after XXX

And I press the learn more hyperlink, I am redirected to this form page below:

It seems that OpenAI is actively exploring new ways for ChatGPT plus subscribers like me, to use it in a less constrained manner. Maybe in the future, there would be another new kind of subscription level for heavy users?

In ChatGPT web page, it’s mentioned that “Usage limits may apply”, this is very vague.

I have searched OpenAI’s forum, it seems this is a common problem now.

For some unlucky guy it’s even worse — the message didn’t tell the exact time when the limit is reset.

Have you recently meet with this error message as well?
