The typical signs of diabetes are being really thirsty, feeling hungry a lot, needing to pee often, and losing weight. These are called “the three highs and one low.” But these show up late. Before these, 30% to 70% of people with diabetes have skin symptoms. Finding these early can help stop diabetes from getting worse.

Today, my article tells you what skin problems will be caused by diabetes?

Darkened Skin

Darkened skin is an early sign of diabetes. High blood sugar can harm blood vessels and slow blood flow, changing skin and making it darker.

This is called acanthosis nigricans. It can be anywhere but is usually in folds like elbows, armpits, and the back of the neck. It’s more common in overweight people, and the skin looks dirty and thick.

If you see dark skin, check your blood sugar. Losing weight and controlling blood sugar can help.

Skin Itching

High blood sugar in diabetes can make you itch a lot, especially on your hands and feet. This can be very annoying and mess up your day.
