Can the core of the sun reach this temperature?

In the 1970s, Dr. Morse’s laboratory experienced an unprecedented temperature war, which not only created historically high temperatures but also gave scientists a deeper and more accurate understanding of temperature.

Moreover, after creating these record-high temperatures, a new “champion” emerged on the list of the “hottest.”

So, who is this “champion”?

1. Temperature

The earliest appearance of the term “temperature” was in the Chinese “I Ching,” and its meaning involved moving closer to a fire when it is cold and sitting in the shade under a tree when it is hot to experience the change in temperature.

As early as the 17th century, Sir Isaac Newton of England made significant efforts in studying thermodynamics and led macroscopic thermodynamic research, earning him the title of the father of thermodynamics. Newton also discovered the Celsius temperature scale.

French physicist Foucault introduced the concept of temperature as the state of molecular motion, which measures the internal energy of an object.

Thus, he established the basic principles of modern thermodynamics. In the 19th century, Clausius proposed the concept…
