World War II swept half the world, what were the countries in the other half doing?
World War II was a big disaster that affected almost everyone in the world. It is the most widespread, most involved, and most economically damaging war in history.
But if we look at the world map, we can see that while almost everyone was affected, only a few main fighting countries had severe battles. Other countries did not suffer as much.
So, what were these other countries doing during World War II?

First, we can call these countries “war-experienced countries.” These are countries that went through the war but had few casualties.
We can divide war-experienced countries into three groups: those that supported the Allies, those that supported the Axis, and those that stayed neutral.
