On one of the largest Q&A websites in the US, an American user asked: “If the US invades China, how many hours would it take for China to be defeated?”

This post quickly went viral, with many calling it a display of “American arrogance.”

Some even said it was pure fantasy.

Even users from pro-American countries like the UK and Australia, as well as some Americans, gave blunt responses.

First, let’s look at the response from a user in Ireland.

This person stated that the US lacks the ability to invade China, as any invasion would trigger a fierce counterattack from China.

The US’s aircraft carriers would likely not make it back.

Additionally, China is a nuclear power, and its missile technology is even more advanced than that of the US.

Any misstep could escalate into nuclear war.

The Irish user also pointed out that, in terms of military potential, the US lacks the capability to invade China.
